Principal's Corner

Dear Parents,

On behalf of North Mobile County K-8, I am excited to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! I am grateful to be your new principal and cannot wait to meet everyone. I know that your child is your most important possession, and we want to make sure that they have the best educational opportunity possible. I am looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential.

We are a family here are North Mobile County K-8 (which includes our PreK program). That means we will work together to provide the support our children need to be successful at school. By having the support from both the home and school, we know the strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. Together, we share the responsibility for our children’s educational success and want you to know that we will do what it takes to live up to our responsibilities as a school. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:

-          Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience

-          Completes all school assignments and homework assignments given by teachers

-          Reads at least thirty (30) minutes daily to develop a love for reading and improve literacy skills

-          Shares about their school day with you so that you are aware of his/her school life

-          Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject

-          Knows that you expect him/her to succeed in school and try his/her very best

Additionally, we invite you to become an active member of our school’s PTO. This gives you an opportunity to volunteer and contribute to school activities and programs that benefit our students and teachers.

North Mobile K-8 is unique in its ability to educate a child from PreK through middle school. Our primary goal is to provide as many opportunities as possible for students to learn in a safe and welcoming environment. My educational philosophy is for all students to develop a growth mindset and build on their 'yet' moments. I am happy to return home to North Mobile County K-8 and look forward to working with you and your student. Please feel free to contact me at any time.

The teachers and staff join me in saying we are happy to have you and your child/children as part of the North Mobile K-8 Titan family. Once available, please review the Student/Parent Handbook as a few changes have been made this year. As the school year progresses, we will have many student-centered activities/programs and invite your family to join us. Again, welcome and we hope this will be a great year for all of us!
